Moxie is the latest release film on OTT platform Netflix on March 3, 2021. The screentime of this film is around 1 hour 51 minutes.

The story of this film talks about Hadley Robinson aka Vivian Carter who started a feminist movement called Moxie in a school. This movement was against the treatment of female students by school department and male patriarchy. Secretly, Vivian started the Moxie and it hold all girls attention in the school. Soon, the girls started speaking about their problems and started standing with each other against the patriarchy. Still, no one was aware of who is Moxie and why she is doing this. Well, in the end when Vivian reveals that she is moxie and she started it all. This is when the film gets moving and emotional.
The early reviews of Moxie is out now and they are in a range of 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5. It holds 6.5 stars rating on IMDB and 67 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Moxie has been directed by Amy Poehler who also essayed the role of Vivian’s mother in this film. This movie also stars Lauren Tsai, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Nico Hiraga, Sydney Park and many others. This movie is being produced by Amy Poehler, Morgan Sackett, Kim Lessing. This film is based on Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu. The music composition of Moxie is done by Mac McCaughan. The cinematography work has been handled by Tom Magill and editing by Julie Monroe.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: This film will remind you of your school days very closely. Yes, there are several problems that students do face in schools, especially girls is what has been highlighted in this movie. This movie is simple, light hearted and apt to the point, which makes it interesting. I know, this film could have been better in making still a good attempt to tell the story. This movie holds you for around 2 hours which is interesting. I personally liked the idea of moxie movement as it united girls to support each other. I wish the teacher and principal portrayal would have been more better if shown in the positive side in the end of the film. This film could have been 15 to 20 minutes shorter.
The budget of Moxie movie hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would have been made with around USD 20 to 25 million (146 to 182 crores) budget.
Altogether, despite some hiccups in the middle of the Moxie, overall its a good film.
