Mom Film Box Office Collection Day 1

Sridevi starring revenge-drama Mom is an unconventional story. This is a dark edgy drama which gives us a feel of Noir cinema. At the latest, Mom Film Box Office Collection of the first day is out now.

After half a decade of her spectacle drama English-Vinglish, Sridevi is back with a bang. In the movie, she essays a mother role Janki, whose daughter never returns after a party. She starts her search with the help of DK aka Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Mom film has few characters but each of them has been placed perfectly, but obviously, there is more focus on Sridevi.

 

Mom movie was released 1260 screens in Hindi version, Hindi: 1260, Telugu – 36, Tamil – 27, Malayalam – 27. In India, Mom got released in 1350 screens. In the overseas market, Mom movie got a screen count of 456 and made the worldwide screens to 1806 screens. This screen count was enough to get the good response at the Box Office.

 

The film met with a positive response from film critics with an average star rating of 3 out of 5. It got opened with a 20 percent audience occupancy on the Day 1 in the morning shows, which is great. On the first day it has collected 14 Lakhs from Central India Circuit, Mumbai – 95 Lakhs, Delhi – 45 Lakhs, Punjab – 22 Lakhs, West Bengal – 18 Lakhs. This made the total collection of 2.75 crores at the Box Office on the first day.

Directed by debutant Ravi Udyawar, the film was produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Naresh Agarwal, Mukesh Talreja and Gautam Jain. Music was helmed by AR Rahman and the film also stars Adnan Siddiqui, Sajal Ali, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in titular roles.

In terms of audience response, there are impressed by the overall film and its sensitive story. Well, Mom movie is being heavily compared to Raveena Tandon’s recent flick Maatr but both these movies are totally different but have a same theme of revenge.

Overall, Mom film first-day collection is decent at the Box Office.
