Mirzapur 2 has started on a strong note where we can see Divyendu Sharma aka Munna is wounded with bullets and wants to finish of Ali Fazal aka Guddu once again. On the other hands, Guddu is also wounded and can’t even walk on his legs. Here, Guddu is accompanied by her sister Harshita Gaur aka Dimpy and Shweta Tripathi aka Golu, who want to avenge the death of Vikrant Massey aka Bablu and Shriya Pilgaonkar aka Sweety by killing Munna and Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya.

Here the twist is, we have Vijay Verma in two double roles aka Bade And Chote Tyagi. Their father role has been played by Lilliput aka Dadda Tyagi. This show also stars Anjum Sharma as Sharad Shukla, Rasika Dugal aka Kaleen’s wife, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Munna’s grandfather, Isha Talwar, Rajesh Tailang as Guddu and Bablu father, Amit Sial as Special assigned officer to Mirzapur, Sheeba Chaddha as Guddu’s mother and many more.

Unlike the first season, where men leads the brigade for all the episodes. Here, female also played strong roles in a major portion of the second season. The second season highlight was Munna Tyagi, Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu, Golu Gupta, Vijay Verma’s as Tyagi and Rasika Dugal as Kaleen’s wife.

The first season was full of violence but this second season was more of mind games than just the violence. One thing I can say that, Munna Tyagi actually stole the heart as he played the character really well. On the other hand, Kaleen Bhaiya character was another big highlight of this season. Golu is the woman of the hour, who were no less than a man in this season. Rati Shankar Shukla’s son Sharad was the sharpest mind in this season, who somehow rescued Kaleen Bhaiya at the end. And in the final scene, we can see Guddu sits on the chair of Mirzapur, who was earlier holded by Kaleen Bhaiya. If you want to know what happen to Munna Bhaiya? You better watch the Mirzapur second season.

So, without revealing much further, here I must tell you that there will be definitely a third season Mirzapur 3 on the pipeline as it ended on a high note.

The budget of Mirzapur season 2 hasn’t been revealed but it would reportedly be over 30 plus crores. Right from the lavish set designs, the dark rooms, the voilence, the large high end shots, everything makes Mirzapur 2 a worth watching experience.

The cinematography has been brilliantly done by Sanjay Kapoor. Right from the first shot of this season to the end tilt down shot of Guddu, he actually did wonders with lenses. Mirzapur 2 has been created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmeet Singh. This webseries is Co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Bhaumik Gondaliya under Excel Entertainment banner.

So, if you ask me, which season is better Mirzapur season one or two? I have a clear answer to tell you that this season never let you down. That means, both the seasons were totally connected and has same kind of feel and fervour. The only drawback in this second season is, it looked a bit stretched at some parts. It could have been cut short from 9 hours to 8 hours. Still, its a webseries that you can binge watch.

The early response from critics is in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5, which is still a good rating. The audience is already mad over this web series and they are loving it like anything. So all together, it is a superhit webseries online and people will watch it over in this weekend.

Last word: Watch it for Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, and Anjum Sharma. Also watch it if you want to revisit Gangs Of Wasseypur in webseries version, as this series will remind you of that.

Bollywood Crazies Rating: Mirzapur 2 Review: Distinction (70 Percent out of 100).
