Kabir Singh has become an underdog film of 2019, just like Sanju was in 2018. Kabir Singh have witnessed an unstoppable response at the box office, which is the best for the year so far. Toll day 9, Kabir Singh was sailing past 160 crores and on the day 10, it has again surprised everyone.
Kabir Singh has surprised the trade with its collection of one week, which was 134.42 crores. The second Friday it has collected 12.21 crores, followed by 17.10 crores and takes the total to 163.73 crores.
On the day 10, Kabir Singh is expected to earn around 18 to 19 crores. The collection could have been more but the Occupancy was little less, especially from the afternoon shows due to India Vs England cricket match. From here on, Kabir Singh movie to touch 181 to 182 crores after the end of second weekend.
Kabir Singh is all set to shatter the Bharat movie collection record which is over 213 crores estimates so far. It has a golden chance to be the highest grosser of 2019 by beating URI movie lifetime collection which was 245 crores nett.
Directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the film stars Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Kamini Kaushal, Suresh Oberoi and many more. Interestingly, Kabir Singh is an official remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy released in 2017.
The new releases Annabelle Comes Home and Article 15 also doing pretty good despite Kabir Singh storm.
