Joji is the latest Malayalam film that released on OTT platform Amazon Prime with English subtitles. This film has been inspired by William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth and its runtime is around 1 hour 53 minutes.

Watching Fahadh Faasil is always a dream come true and here too in this film he is essaying the role of Joji, who is a single bachelor and has nothing to do in his life. He has a big brother Baburaj aka Jomon. Jomon wife is Bincy and this character has been played by Unnimaya Prasad. Well, Sunny PN aka P K Kuttappan essayed the role of Joji and Jomon father. Well, the story here is like one fine day, Kuttappan got a sudden paralysis attack and has been bedridden. Their two sons thought that their rich father will be dead soon and they will both have his property and fortune. Instead of dying due to paralysis, Kuttappan is recovering soon and this is not going good as per Joji, Jomon and Bincy. They try to kill their own father by some or other ways but will Kuttappan die or teach their kids a lesson. This is what you need to watch in this film.
Joji movie has been directed by Dileesh Pothan and written by Syam Pushkaran. This film has been produced by Bhavana Studios, Working Class Hero and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. The editing work has been done by Kiran Das and cinematography handled by Shyju Khalid. The musical score has been rendered by Justin Varghese.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Joji is one of those film that tells us the cruel nature of people that they even didn’t fright to kill their own family members for greed and wealth. This film is inspired by Macbeth play by Shakespeare. Fahadh Faasil has given his career best role in Joji and its so hard to bring something new to the platter for the audience at every single time. Kuttappan role is priceless as a ailing father, who didn’t given any wealth to their sons and in return they wish that he die soon. Cinematography and editing are top class in this film. The long shots and aerial shots of rural Kerala can win all the hearts of fan. The story is strong and that’s what lifts up the film. The first half is where the story is built and looks abit slow. But the second half takes this film to another level as per story and performances.
Joji movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers still it would reportedly be around 4-5 crores maximum.
Altogether, Joji is one of the best films of Malayalam cinema after The Great Indian Kitchen and Drishyam 2.
