Sonakshi Sinha, Akshaye Khanna, and Sidharth Malhotra’s suspense thriller film Ittefaq have performed low on the first day. It faces an intense clash with Hollywood counterpart Thor Ragnarok, which also released this Friday in India.

Talking about the collections, Ittefaq has managed to earn just 4 crores at the box office, which is a disappointing collection. Made with a budget of 20 crores, another 8 crores spent on the promotions. It was released in India in 1400 screens, which is less screen count.

Bollywood critics gave thumbs up for this film and there are chances that it will double its collection on the second and the third day. Talking about the audience occupancy report of the first day, Morning Shows- 15 percent, Noon Shows – 20-25 percent, Evening Shows – 40-50 percent, Night Shows – 40 percent. So the average audience occupancy of the first day was 30 percent.

Directed by Abhay Chopra, this film is a remake of cult classic film Ittefaq, which released in 1969 starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, and Ifteqar in key roles.

Altogether, Ittefaq is a good movie but the collections have disappointed on the first day.
