Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The first half is full of suspense and strong writing. The second half picks up strong but the film looks like ended too quickly. The abrupt ending did upset me to a bit or else I overall loved the movie. This film looses its grip in the second half and ended on a low note. The underground door reminds me of a film like Parasite, which has similar kind of underground doors and scary locations. The slow motion shot in the climax was classy where the glass broke. The introduction of the film was good where the makers shown us the beautiful landscapes in long shots. The actors were brilliant and they did justice to the characters. The film could have been much better.

Irul movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would be estimated over 4-5 crores. As there are only three characters and has been completely shot in indoor location.

Altogether, Irul is one of those attempt that didn’t succeeded the way it was expected. Still, I enjoyed it with few flaws. A one time watch film.

Last word: Watch it for its story and starcast.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Irul Review- First Class (60 Percent out of 100).
