Whether you believe it or not, Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 is the biggest comedy film of Bollywood in terms of budget. Now, I am not saying so, it has been reported by Deccan Chronicle in their latest update. According to the report, Housefull 4 is big budget comedy film.

According to their trade source report,”The film boasts a huge starcast – Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, both the Kritis – Sanon and Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati, Amanda Rosario apart from Boman Irani and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among a host of others. There has been a change of director from Sajid Khan to Farhad Samji and both of them have been paid. Sajid Khan was replaced after the #MeToo controversy as was actor Nana Patekar who was also paid.”

The source further adds, “The film also has two cinematographers capturing two eras – the 16th as well as the 21st century. There are seven music composers for
the film as well. Add to all this there are multiple locations and a reshoot that took place making it the most expensive comedy film thus far.”

Earlier in an interview, director Farhad Samji said, it’s a periodical comedy that is being done in Bollywood for the first time.

Housefull 4 is set to hit the theaters in this Diwali. Interestingly, the film is facing no clash at the box office so far. Reportedly, the film is being made with a budget of around 200 crores.

Apart from this film, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Mission Mangal, Bachchan Pandey, IKKA, Good News, Sooryavanshi and many others.
