She was born in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir on October 2, 1987. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from CCA School of Management, Gurgaon, Delhi in 2009. She later decided to be an actress and got a role in Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2009. Before joining the show, she attended the Amardeep Jha Acting Classes for 15 days. She has worked in this serial for 8 years and finally quits the show. She thought it was too repetitive to work in this show. She later became a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8, which was hosted by Rohit Shetty. She played the game really well and became the first runner-up of the show.
Just after completing her first reality show, Hina Khan didn’t take any break and became the contestant of Bigg Boss 11. Though Hina Khan is facing challenges in Bigg Boss 11 house but still she playing it well. She also appeared in TV serials like Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, Nach Baliye- Season 6, and Bhaag Bakool Bhaag.
Talking about her personal life, she has a fear of heights. She wanted to be a journalist but later dropped that idea. During her struggling days, she was selected as an Air hostess, but she suffered from Malaria and left her job.
