Gunjan Saxena biopic is currently released on Netflix on August 12 featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. This is her second performance after Dhadak in 2018 and she did her best in this film.

Co-produced by Dharma productions, Janhvi Kapoor did play her role honestly and gave a concrete performance as an Airforce pilot. Apart from Janhvi, Angad Bedi, Pankaj Mishra delivered their roles brilliantly.

The makers didn’t revealed the budget yet but it would be around 35 to 40 crores. This film has earned a profitable return through online medium and it might have sold to 30 to 35 crores for the OTT platform.

What if Gunjan Saxena film released in theaters? This film would have turned a flop affair despite good performance. This film definitely couldn’t survive in theaters as Janhvi is naive in the Bollywood Industry as an actress.

Saran Sharma has directed Gunjan Saxena movie and he did a commendable job. This film highlights the Kargil war of 1999 and how Gunjan Saxena played a key role as an airforce pilot. Janhvi did remind us of her late mother Sridevi.

Altogether, Janhvi Kapoor starrer film is above average on OTT platform but it could have been a disaster in theaters.
