Salman Khan’s latest picture from the Tiger Zinda Hai sets is certainly give you the feeling of the stature of this film. It is all set to be the biggest action film of 2017. At the latest, the director Ali Abbas Zafar has explained the difficulties he faces while shooting for action sequences in Dubai.
In last few months, Ali Abbas Zafar has shared various pictures from the sets of Tiger Zinda Hai. Some of the pictures even include Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif together. In the latest picture, we have seen Salman Khan holding a heavy-duty machine gun.
When Ali Abbas Zafar was being asked about the action sequence, he detailed, “When you feature a superstar like Salman Khan, who is known to pull his weight for a film’s action, you need to have weaponry that suits his stature and also fit in with the scale of Tiger Zinda Hai.”
He also added, “This fight sequence is part of a very crucial chapter in the film, and the weapon needed to match the scale and impact of this moment. For this scene, Salman fired around 5000 cartridges, over 3 consecutive days. It actually becomes one of the most iconic shots of the film. Because the gun was being used continuously, we needed to keep two such weapons ready for use. It generates extreme heat and we worked in very hot conditions. We had to flip the gun continuously, and keep both in perfect functioning condition.”
Tiger Zinda Hai is being produced by Yash Raj Films, which also stars Paresh Rawal and Girish Karnad in key roles. It is all set to hit the theaters on December 22, 2017.
