Emraan’s film will be competing in New Horizons section in BIFF. Interestingly, Harami is the only Indian film selected out of 10 films from 9 countries. The festival will take place from 21 -30 October, 2020.

As per news report from boxofficeindia.co.in, Shyam Madiraju said, “As a filmmaker, I’m truly elated that Harami has been invited to be a part of Busan Festival’s main competition section. Korea is the epicenter of the filmmaking universe right now, so it’s an immense honor to be a part of their celebration of cinema this year.”

Talking about Emraan Hashmi, the director further added,”But it was Emraan Hashmi playing the role of ‘Sagar Bhai’ a very Dickensian Fegin like character who is a former English teacher turned gang lord who is the real revelation of the film. The role complex and nuanced and unlike anything Emraan had done before, was a true challenge for both Emraan and I.”

As per the director, Harami movie has been extensively shot in Dharavi slums, Victoria Terminus, Bombay Central with over 200 plus crew members from America, UK, Denmark and other countries.

Altogether, Emraan Hashmi look is an interesting one and we wish this film to get released as soon as possible.
