The shooting of Bhoomi has started in February 2017 in Agra. The film has been completed as per the schedule. As per the reports, Bhoomi film has been made with a budget of 22 crores, with additional 8 crores for promotions. So, the overall cost of this film is 30 crores. The screen time of this movie is 2 Hours and 19 Minutes, which is quite good.

Bhoomi film will be released in over 1500 screens, which is below the expectations. The reason behind such a low screen count is the clashes at the box office. On September 22, Newton, JD, and Haseena Parkar are releasing at the box office along with Bhoomi. This is the only reason for low screen count.

Obviously, there will be immense competition due to the clash of four films. The only film that gives tough competition to Bhoomi is Shraddha Kapoor starring Haseena Parkar. In such a scenario, the first-day collection prediction of Bhoomi would be around 4 to 5 crores, followed by over 15 crores the first weekend. The lifetime collection will be around 30 to 35 crores. If Bhoomi performs well at the box office than it might collect more than that.

Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt has already done a film like this in the past, which named as Pitaah. This film was released in 2002 but didn’t earn a big money at the box office. Bhoomi has been directed by Omung Kumar and also stars Sharad Kelkar and Aditi Rao Hydari in key roles.
