Ajay Devgn is very choosy in terms of picking up the scripts and now he will next be seen in Taanaji movie, which is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare.

He was a 17th-century warrior and a close friend of Shivaji Maharaj. He is famous for the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670. Shivaji asked him to capture the fort of Sinhagad from King Udaybhan. They had a long battle which eventually lost by Tanaji. But, he has won’t the Sinhagad Fort even after losing his life. When Shivaji Maharaj got to know about his friend’s death, he utters, “although the fort has captured a lion was lost.”

The first poster of Taanaji film looks intriguing. It is overall a war film and it gives us a feeling of just like Baahubali. Bollywood has hardly made war films earlier but now it looks like they are exploring this genre after the humongous success of Baahubali series. The film is directed by Om Raut and starring Ajay Devgn as Tanaji. The film is slated to hit the screens in 2019.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy in promoting his upcoming film Baadshaho. Directed by Milan Luthria, Baadshaho also stars Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra in the titular role. The promotions are in full swing and the film is all set to hit the theaters on September 1, 2017.

Apart from this movie, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in a comedy movie Golmaal 4. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Golmaal 4 also stars Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Tabu in titular roles. The movie is slated to release in Diwali 2017.

Altogether, we are excited to see Ajay Devgn in all three different roles. Especially, his role as Taanaji will be an interesting one.
