A R Rahman presents Atkan Chatkan movie, which premiered on Zee5 OTT platform on September 5, 2020. Right from the name of the film to its characters, everything look unique and interesting. It is a film that gives wings to the dreams of those who want to achieve something big in life.Written and directed by Shiv Hare, Atkan Chatkan has been produced by Lokaa Entertainment. The movie has been set in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The most interesting thing about this movie is, one of the songs has been crooned by Amitabh Bachchan. The music of Atkan Chatkan has been rendered by noted percussionist Sivamani.

This film talks about a 12 year old boy Guddu aka Lydian Nadhaswaram who has a dream to be a big musician. Guddu has its own share of troubles in life but how he manages to make it big is what follows the story. Atkan Chatkan also stars Sachin Chaudhary as Chuttan, Yash Rane as Madhav, and Tamanna Dipak as Mithi. All these four kids will make you remind your childhood days but in a whole different way. As, they are not privileged kids and they fight it hard in life to meet the end needs.Atkan Chatkan gets a rating between 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5 from film critics. So far, very few has watched this since its released online. This movie hasn’t been promoted well but is a good film to watch along with your kids.Atkan Chatkan runtime is 2 hours 3 minutes, which is an apt one.

This film is very close to reality and that’s why it will connect you. There was some dubbing issues in the film that may not received well by people. Still, it think music is the language of this film. If you have loved Bandit Bandish web series by Amazon Prime than you will also going to like it.By looking at the movie, it seems Atkan Chatkan has been made with a budget reportedly around 8 to 10 crores. It has been sold on a decent price to OTT platform and it definitely have recovered the cost as it is being presented by none other than A R Rahman. Atkan Chatkan could have been termed as above average film on OTT.

What if Atkan Chatkan would have released in theaters? It would turned out a flop affair on cinema screens. Despite a good story, audience hardly turn to such small budget movies in theaters.
