According to a source, “It was Akshay’s idea to get the clean-up marshals of the city together. They understand the city’s inherent issues. He is hosting an event today (July 27) to honor their contribution in keeping Mumbai moving seamlessly. A representative from each ward in the city will be present at the event. Post that, the actor and his team will work with counselors and BMC officials in teaching slum dwellers not to dump garbage into the drains and even educate them about waste management.”

This is certainly a different approach to promote an upcoming movie with such a good cause. This is a brilliant way to promote a movie, which talks about the major problem of open defecation in India. According to UN reports, 60 percent of open defecation of the world is being done by India.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet Ek Prem Katha also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sana Khan, Anupam Kher in key roles. The film is schedule to hit the theaters on August 11, 2017.

Altogether, Akshay Kumar is promoting his next in a brilliant way.
