Bobby Deol’s Aashram season 2 has finally released on November 11, 2020 on OTT platform MXPlayer. There are a total 9 episodes with each consisting with a screentime of around 35 to 40 minutes. The total screentime of Aashram 2 is around 6 hours, whereas Aashram season 1 screentime was around 8 hours 30 minutes. The best thing is Aashram is completely free on MX Player app.

Unlike the popularity of Aashram first season, this second season didn’t lived up to the expectations in a big way. Still, it’s a worth watching series where Bobby Deol again shines as Baba Nirala.
This story is about a fake saint who wants to win over the trust of people by showing his goodwill and social work. This fake saint is also used by political parties for their personal benefits to get more votes and win the elections. On the other hand, Baba Nirala has almost destroyed the life of Pammi aka Aaditi Pohankar and her family. Later, Pammi sees the true colour of Baba Nirala and takes her revenge in style. Here, the makers wants to give the message about how faith and politics goes hand in hand.
Aashram first season was refreshing and exciting but the season season looks a bit monotonous. Still, the brilliant casting and strong dialogues will make you watch second season without much yawning.

Aashram Season 2 has been directed by Prakash Jha and produced by himself under banner Prakash Jha Productions. This crime drama series has been written by Habib Faisal. The cinematography has been done by Chandan Kowli and it is edited by Santosh Mandal. The music has played a key role in this webseries and it has been composed by Advait Nemlekar.
Performances: You can’t keep your eyes away from Bobby Deol and his character of Baba Nirala. Aaditi’s character also shines as a wrestler Pammi. She has worked really hard on her physique and dialect. Tridha has also impressed us with her character of Babita in this series.
The early critical response of Aashram 2 is out now and most of the critics have rated this series in a range of 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5 stars.
The budget of Aashram 2 hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers. Still by watching the second season, the budget of each episode reportedly around 1-2 crores per episode.
One thing is sure, there is certainly Aashram Season 3 on the pipeline. On the other hand, Pammi lost all her family members and want to revenge Baba Nirala in Aashram season 3.
