Rajinikanth starring 2.0 release date is confirmed now by the makers. This film will be released on April 27, 2018. It is one of the most anticipated films of 2018.

Earlier, 2.0 was slated to release on Diwali 2017. But the makers thought that they better release it next year to complete the post-production work in a proper way. They soon changed the movie release date to January 26, 2018. Well, the movie is now finally releasing on April 27.
This movie also marks the Tamil film debut of Akshay Kumar, who is one of the successful actors in Bollywood. This movie has been made with a budget of 450 crores and has completely shot in 3D. This is by far the most costliest 3D film ever produced in India.

Directed by S Shankar, 2.0 also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain, Sudhanshu Pandey in key roles. Rajinikanth reprising the same role of Doctor Vaseegaran and Chitti in this film. 2.0 is the sequel of Robot, which was released in 2010.

Altogether, 2.0 has all the chances to break many records in India after its release.
