Bollywood Crazies Opinion: I have already saw Paltan movie from JP Dutta and I am not comparing this to that. Still, I feel that the director has lost its track from the main topic and get embroiled in the personal stories of the soldiers. Normally, I appreciate each and every role of Abhay Deol but I didn’t got much impressed with his character. Even, Sairaat movie fame Akash Thosar seems a miscast in this webseries. Despite huge production value, the emotions hardly been evoked from this series. I feel the makers didn’t give justice to the subject they have got into. The only saving grace is high duty actions that you will love only if you have patience to watch this series till the last few episodes.

The budget of 1962: The War In The Hills hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be over 25 to 28 crores.

Altogether, 1962: The War In The Hills is not up to mark and you could better watch Paltan movie instead.

Last word: You could easily skip it for some other patriotic movies or webseries. You can only watch it for some good action sequences in the end.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: 1962: The War In The Hills Review- Pass (40 percent out of 100).
