After bagging all the applauds for her South Indian films, Aafreen Sidhu is all set to amaze her fans once again. She has been roped in Saazish Sidhu’s upcoming women oriented flick RANGRAAS. Based on the realistic and realism situations the film revolves around the struggle and survival of young girl who lives in Mumbai slum area and her journey from Rajasthan to Mumbai.

It is completely a family entertainment film which make any girl to connect with the character as it shows all the real emotions, problems and struggle of a slum ladies and their tough survival. Also, in the film the audience will explore the different kind of love that shows the feeling and reality of life instead of filmi love and fairytale romance.

Talking about the film , the director Saazish Sidhu says- It’s my first debut film as a director and I have done a lot of hard work to make it a big hit. Through this film we are trying to give the information to the people that how the girls of a slum area fight for bread and butter.

Also we didn’t caste Aafreen just because she is my sister, she perfectly fits in the character instead. I saw her going slum area daily and spending time with the slum ladies just to understand the character. I think no one can do better justice with this character then Aafreen.

After one of the big name Madhur Bhandarkar, Saazish is the only young director who chooses the genre of realistic films. The other characters of the film will reveal soon and also it will be presented in the Cannes Film Festival 2019.
