Aamir Khan starring Secret Superstar is finally set for release in China on January 19, 2018. At the latest, the advance booking of this film has started. The premiere of this film is set to hold in China on January 12 for selected theaters. After that, it will release officially on January 19.
The screen count details are yet not known but even if it gets half of the screen count of Dangal than it will cross 500 crores easily in its lifetime. Dangal has got around 6000 screens in China and had a long run of over 2 months. In this time, Dangal has collected 1200 crores gross collection alone in China.

In India, Secret Superstar was released on October 20, 2017, along with Golmaal Again on Diwali. In spite of a clash, this film was able to earn 63 crores nett collection in India. Till now, Secret Superstar was able to earn 133 crores gross collection worldwide. It includes 5.8 crores collection in Taiwan. It is still running in Taiwan, since its release on November 24, 2017.
Interestingly, Aamir Khan is the most popular actor in China in 2017 after Dangal. And, everyone knows that Zaira Wasim has impressed us with her performance in Dangal. So, that will be an additional benefit for Zaira and Aamir to get a big hit with Secret Superstar. Even if the audience didn’t like it in China, still this film will wrap up around 300 crores. Well, if they like it than 500 crores is what looks possible.
Currently, Zaira Wasim and director Advait Chandan is in China to promote the film. Soon, Aamir Khan will join them to be a part of Secret Superstar promotion. After Dangal, no Indian films have been released in China due to various reasons And, it would be interesting to see Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar release.
Altogether, Secret Superstar has a huge buzz in China and the collections will jump for sure.
