One of the most awaited films of 2018 is Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic, which is tentatively titled as Dutt. Nearly 6 months ago, the makers of Dutt biopic has confirmed the release date to March 30, 2018. But Yesterday, another movie Baaghi 2 is declared its release on March 30. Interestingly, the production house of both these films is the same, Fox Star Studios.

And the production house finally decided to change the release date of Dutt biopic to June 29, 2018. The makers have delayed this film due to various reasons. First is, they don’t want their own production house movies to clash with each other. The other reason will be the IPL matches, which has delayed the release nearly 3 months, from its earlier release date.

In this film, Ranbir Kapoor is essaying the titular role of Sanjay Dutt’s character. He has changed his personality in last one year to be in the shoes of Sanjay Dutt. This film is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, who has earlier made blockbuster hits like 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai, PK and many more.

The shooting of this film has started on January 12, 2017, and it took more than one year to complete the film. This film is currently in the post-production process. This movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Anushka Sharma, Jim Sarbh, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu and Boman Irani in key roles.

Altogether, this will be the first biopic film of Ranbir Kapoor, whose last film Jagga Jasoos was a major flop.
