Padman has completed its third day at the box office and it is racing towards 100 crores collection lifetime. This film is facing stiff competition to Padmaavat, which is earning decently even in the third week.

Padman has witnessed 50 percent audience occupancy in the morning shows on the third day. It received 65 percent Occupancy in afternoon and around 50 percent Occupancy in the evening shows. The night audience occupancy is still not confirmed but it looks very similar to its evening Occupancy.

There is certainly a 20 percent growth in the collection in the third day as compared to its second day. The collections will be around 15 to 16 crores. Till now it raked around 24 crores in two days. It got released in 2750 screens in India, which is enough for it to cross 100 crores lifetime.

The subject of this movie is very strong and this film has spread a positive wave in the Indian society. This film is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who started low-cost sanitary pads for village women in Bengaluru. Padman is being helmed by R. Balki, who has earlier directed films like Cheeni Kum and Shamitabh in the past.

Altogether, Padman is a good movie, which stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in key roles.
