One of the most talented actors in the world, Leonardo DiCaprio is all set to play one of the most challenging roles of his life. Yes, he is now essaying the role of Leonardo da Vinci.

Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452 and died in 1519. In his life, he has explored a lot in different fields, right from painting or inventing new things. He was a great legend who was good with all his art forms. So, playing such a role would definitely be a challenging task for Leonardo DiCaprio.

As per the saying, Leonardo’s mother was in Italy and watching a picture of Leonardo da Vinci when he first kicked inside her womb. That’s how the star is being named following his name. This film will be produced by his own Appian Way banner along with Paramount, which has acquired the rights to Walter Isaacson’s Novel on Leonardo da Vinci.

This is the Ninth time DiCaprio is playing a real life character in his films. In his last film The Revenant, he has essayed a role of a frontiersman, Hugh Glass, which fetched him the Best Actor Oscar for the first time.

Altogether, Leonardo DiCaprio’s next film is a challenging one and he is known for taking challenges.
