The three new releases, which has underperformed on the first day, has now seen a ray of light on the second day. Well, Mukkabaaz and 1921 shines in terms of collections on Day 2 but Kaalakaandi drops due to various reasons.

Talking about the collections of Kaalaakaandi, it has collected 1.25 crores on the first day. On the second day, it has earned 1.20 crores, which is a drop of around 5 percent. It is the only film, which has saw a drop in the new releases. The story of this film is very different and it caters especially to the multiplexes audience and that might be a big reason why the film gets a low response on day 2.

Another horror from Vikram Bhatt, 1921 has managed to impress the fans, especially in the single screens. Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra starring film have witnessed a growth of 50 percent in the collections on day 2. It has collected 1.56 crores on day 1 and 2.09 crores, which takes the total around 3.65 crores.

Well, Mukkabaaz has surprised the audience on the second day in a big way. After collecting around 82 lakhs on the first day, it has earned around 1.51 crores on day 2. It has taken the total to over 2.33 crores.

Altogether, It was a good day for new releases, except Saif’s Kaalakaandi.
