In 2017, two movies have been retained on the top Dangal and Baahubali 2. Not only in the theaters, these two films got good TRP on Television. They were ranked at number one and number 2 position until now. Well, Judwaa 2 has recently aired on television and broke into top 3 TRP ratings of 2017.

Judwaa 2 has been aired twice on the television. In the first viewing, it got 1.5 Crores impressions and in the second viewing, it got 90 lakhs impressions. Till now, it has got 2.4 Crores impressions in just 2 screenings. With this, it has now ranked at number 2 in Top 3 TRP list of 2017.

Baahubali 2 ranked number one with 5.85 Crores impressions. Dangal now ranked third with 2.39 Crores impressions. Interestingly, the fourth position is being held by another South Indian film DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham), whose Hindi dubbed version gets 2.12 crore impressions. The fifth place is being held by Toilet Ek Prem Katha, which got 1.86 Crores impressions.

By looking this updated TRP ratings, it is very clear that Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 is a bigger hit on television as compared to Aamir Khan’s Dangal. When, Judwaa 2 was released in theaters on September 29, 2017; it has earned 138.50 Crores. It was second biggest hit movie of 2017 after Golmaal Again, which raked 205.70 crores.

Altogether, Judwaa 2 is a big hit on both big screens and small screens.
