Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starring musical-drama Jagga Jasoos are getting rave response from the audience. Started with a decent note on the first Friday, it has witnessed a great jump on the second day. At the latest, the film has managed to cross 20 crores in two days.

Released in over 2500 screens worldwide. It got 1800 screens in India where this movie is being heavily praised by critics. Nearly all the film critics gave it over 3.5 stars which normally seems impossible for other Bollywood movies. Due to an unconventional presentation of the story, it is being loved by cinema fans.
Talking about the collections, Jagga Jasoos earned 8.57 crores on the Day 2. On day 2, it saw a 35 percent growth and the movie has able to earn 11.53 crores. Overall, Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos has managed to earn 20.10 crores in India. And the latest report also says that audience occupancy on Day 3 morning shows is between 55-60 percent. This clearly means that the collection on the first Sunday will be over 13 crores. In that way, Jagga Jasoos will surely have 30 plus crores the first weekend.
The pre-production work of Jagga Jasoos started in the early 2012 and soon it went on to the floors. Due to the lack of proper script, the film was shelved. Even Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor’s breakup has hurt the movie a lot. And that’s why it has been shelved at several occasions. Due to delay, the film cost rose to 100 crores and it’s so difficult to recover that. But there is a sheer possibility that it will face minimum loss as Jagga Jasoos will cross over 80 to 85 crores lifetime.
Directed by Anurag Basu, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. It was released on July 14, 2017.
Altogether, Jagga Jasoos second day collection is good and we hope that the movie collects good money at the box office.
