Gold movie has almost completed fifth day at the box office and it is showing good run in both multiplexes and single screens. Akshay Kumar’s movie is giving tough competition to John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate since its release.
This film was released in 3000 plus screens in India and has earned 25.25 crores on day 1. The second day box office collection was 8 crores. The third day earning was 10.25 crores and the fourth day collection was 12.50 crores.
On the fifth day, Gold opens with 40 percent audience occupancy in the Morning. The afternoon occupancy was 60 percent, followed by 55 percent in the evening shows. The night shows audience occupancy is yet not confirmed but it will be on a similar note like evening occupancy. The average audience occupancy of the day is around 54 to 55 percent.
The occupancy trend will take the collection to 15 to 16 crores on fifth day. It will take the total collection of Gold around 71 to 72 crores. That means, Gold movie can easily cross 100 crores collection in 10 days. Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold movie also stars Sunny Singh, Amit Sadh, Mouni Roy and many more.
