Answer: There is always music companies who have the power to put a promotional song or remix of an old song and some of them are even situational. So, there are few songs which the movie requires because it’s an old song and they have to use it in that kind of situation. So, there are two ways to look at it, sometimes they just remix the song as they have the rights over it and they want to make money out of that. Rightly says Sanjay Leela Bhansali, they use classical music as their base. If you take classical music as their base it automatically becomes something of value. As Indian classical music is so deep and rich in culture that each and every note that they sing or composed is automatically stands out. Talking about bad songs, there is a trend in the market basically mixing the genres and putting some electronic beats into making nice.
