Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De movie has almost completed its first day at the box office. It is all set to take a decent start on its first day at cinemas across India.

DDPD got released in 3100 screens in India and 650 screens in overseas market. The overall worldwide screen count is 3750. Made with over 65 crores budget, De De Pyaar De opened with 20 percent audience occupancy in the morning shows. The afternoon audience occupancy was around 25 percent, followed by 35 percent occupancy in the evening shows. The night shows is yet not known but it would be similar to the evening one. The average audience occupancy of the day will be 30 percent.

The occupancy is little low as compared to his other Friday openings. Before proceeding further, let me remind you that paid Previews were also kept from Thursday evening and that could rake up around 2 to 3 crores. By looking at the Friday occupancy, this film will manage to earn around 9 to 10 crores. If we add paid previews than the day 1 total will cross 12 to 13 crores.

Let me remind you here is, Ajay Devgn rules single screen market in India, but this film is more of a multiplex audience oriented film. The single screen audience may not like this film.

Directed by Akiv Ali, this film stars Ajay Devgn, Yaariyaan movie fame Rakul Preet Singh, Tabu in key roles.
