Baahubali 2 is one of the biggest ever movies of Indian Cinema and now it has completed 100 days in Japan. Released on December 29, 2017, S.S. Rajamouli’s directorial film has been well received by Japanese fans.

Prabhas starring movie has collected $ 1.3 million – 8.5 crores in Japan, where it is still running in 15th week. This is the third highest earning Indian film in Japan after Muthu and 3 Idiots. Rajinikanth starring Muthu was released in Japan in 1998 and collected $ 1.6 million. This film has witnessed 180 days long-run in Japan. The second highest grossing movie 3 Idiots, which earned 1.48 million.

If we add the Japanese collection to Baahubali 2, than the worldwide collection right now stands at $ 262.7 million – 1715 crores. Baahubali 2 has a good chance to release in China, but still there is no official confirmations on it.

In China, we have already witnessed Indian releases like Secret Superstar, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and now Hindi Medium. Well, if Baahubali 2 gets a release date in China, than it would be the fourth film to enter mainland China this year.

Since 2017, Indian movies are getting acceptance and appreciation from the Chinese audience and it would be the right time for Baahubali 2 release in China. Altogether, Baahubali 2 has won audience heart in Japan.
